Bushnell community news

A special village board meeting was held Wednesday, January 29 at 6 p.m.

Verne Hackbarth announced that the Panhandle Area Development District will be present at the regular February meeting to talk about the programs that are available in our area.

The new village office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The board reminded the audience that the village has a “tumbleweed wagon” available for residents to use to gather up their tumbleweeds and take out by the lagoon to burn (on fairly calm days, please). Just stop in the office to borrow it.

Water bills must be current by the Feb. 15 or water will be shut off for those 30 days or more overdue.

The next village board meeting is Thursday, February 13 at 6 p.m.

Sisters Grimm will be closed on Wednesday, February 12.

Johnson’s Surplus is still open on weekends. Stop in to see what new items they have.
