Burns senior Travis Romsa, flanked by parents Scott and Lori Romsa, signed his name on the dotted line and committed to play football at Chadron State College in the fall.

Coach Marv Mirich, Drew Severn, Sean Patterson along with principal Jerry Beking, brother Brandon and mom and dad Lori and Scott Romsa gathered around Travis Romsa as he prepared to sign papers committing to play football and attend college at Chadron State College.

"It's a really cool thing when a kid from a small school gets to go on and play and compete at the next level," Athletic Director Barry Ward said welcoming the students and guest to the signing.

Mirich thanked Romsa and all the students for what they do. He said Romsa was a big part of the reason Burns went 8-1 this season.
