Robert Leroy Eisenhauer

Robert Leroy Eisenhauer, 85, of Cheyenne (formerly of Laramie) died Jan. 31in Cheyenne. He was born May 22, 1928, in Wolbach, Neb., to Harry and Truly (Padgett) Eisenhauer.

The family moved to Pine Bluffs in 1942 where he graduated high school in 1947. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1948-1952, including two amphibious landings at Inchon and Wonsan during the Korean Conflict.

At the end of his service, Bob met Geraldine (Gerry) Geaney in San Francisco, Calif. They married on Aug. 3, 1952, and returned to Pine Bluffs where he managed a gas station with his brother Lloyd. He worked f...
