Burns Broncs split wins

Noah Taylor slams in 2 with .8 seconds left to tie the game and take it to overtime. Burns outscored Rock River 60-56.

Burns entertained Rock River and gave their varsity bench a little playing time. Looking to the future, Coach Sean Patterson will empty the bench of 11 seniors at graduation this year. The underclassmen will need to step up. On Friday, they showed Patterson strong will, resilience and effort with a 60-56 win.

"It took us a little while to get going in this one," Patterson said. "We eventually dug ourselves a 20 point deficit. In the second quarter, we became more aggressive on both ends of the court."
