Coyotes play hard but lose

The Pawnee Coyotes experienced two losses Thursday and Friday, despite a good effort and hard work, said Coach Tim Brunelle.

"We played hard, but just didn't make shots," Brunelle said of Friday's game against Weldon Valley. The Coyotes lost the game 61-41.

Brunelle said the size of Weldon Valley's players made it difficult to score, but praised the Coyotes for playing hard.

"The game was hard fought, and we battled," Brunelle said.

The Coyotes lost by 10 points playing against Briggsdale Thursday 56-48.
