Lady Broncs triumph

Two wins in as many days this late in the season caused Coach Barry Ward, who is rarely quiet with his praise, to say "Atta Girl."

Burns hosted Rock River and once they overcame their slow start, played a good game, even giving freshman on the varsity bench an opportunity to play. Freshman Katie Norris was rewarded with a chant, "Way to go, Freshman," as she sunk a 3-pointer late in the game that Burns won, 64-37.

"You don't learn if you don't play," Ward said as he caught one young player at the end of the game.
