Fortune doesn't always come as a win

The athletes on the Burns boys basketball team have tasted perfect seasons in other sports. They have also tasted the agony of defeat. This season, going 12-9 overall and 4-4 in their region, neither agony or perfection was on the menu.

Meeting the Hornets in Pine Bluffs for the last regular season game would provide a fortune of experience and training, win or lose.

"We were fortunate to play in a tremendous environment on Saturday," Coach Sean Patterson said. "The intensity was through the roof. We appreciate all of the support."
