Lady Coyotes within reach of win; lose

Lady Coyotes Emily Ellis and Afton Zitek approached the Pawnee basketball court Friday, possibly with feelings of nostalgia, as they played their last home game.

Ellis and Zitek, along with the rest of the Pawnee Coyotes, went toe-to-toe with Dayspring Christian Academy, coming within reach of a win, but ultimately losing the game in overtime with a final score of 66-64.

The game began just as it ended - with a 2-point lead in favor of Dayspring Christian Academy at the end of the first quarter.
