Obituary: Loren L. Lundberg

Loren L. Lundberg, originally of Albin, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at the age of 96. Memorial services were held at Denver First Church of the Nazarene in Denver, March 14, and burial at Albin on March 15.

Loren was born in Gallio, Wyoming June 23, 1917, to Harry and Carrie Lundberg. He is survived by his second wife, Virginia, and preceded in death in 1999 by his wife of 57 years, Mary Ann Lundberg. He is also survived by children, Donna Kay Lundberg, Patricia Annette (Joe) Kuhns, Robert Kevin Lundberg (Sandy), and Shannon Elizabeth (Steve) Labout, 21 living grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, and sisters, Agnes (Erling) Hofseth, Delight Adcock, and Dorothy Bean.

Preceded in death by two children: Lorna Rae Lundberg and Larry Michael Lundberg, and three grandchildren, one of whom was Keri Elizabeth Richardson; also parents, a sister, Evelyn Haldeman, and their brother, Kenneth Lundberg.

Loren was a farmer, custom crop harvester, painting and decorating professional, taxidermist, hard-rock miner, inventor, loved to hunt big game, fish, travel and see new places. He was a DIY innovator, music lover (sang in church choirs for many years), a dedicated husband, father; grandfather; a praying man, read the Bible every day. Mr. Lundberg always worked hard and dealt honestly with everyone, even when it was not to his own advantage. He was also a generous friend, helping many others financially when their lives were difficult. He especially loved Psalm 37, and was always faithful to his local church, and most of all to his Lord, Jesus Christ, with Whom he is now at home.
