State Engineer seeks solutions to ground water

Several irrigators from eastern Laramie County delivered testimony and voiced concerns about ground water use at a public hearing held April 10.

The Wyoming State Engineer's Office (WSEO) scheduled the meeting after the completion of a hydrogeologic study of the Laramie County Control Area on March 27. Wyoming State Engineer Patrick Tyrrell said the meeting aimed to determine whether or not the ground water in the control area is adequate for all appropriators.
