Purdy looks at national spot after being named Wyoming Beef Ambassador

Pine Bluffs High School graduate Rachel Purdy completed a lifelong goal April 5 after being named one of three Wyoming Beef Ambassadors.
"With this title I have a lot more opportunities to promote beef," she said. "I have a lot more opportunities to make a difference, and make a positive impact on the beef industry."
Purdy was the overall winner in the Wyoming Beef Ambassador Competition held April 8 at Casper College, beating fellow 2014 Wyoming Beef Ambassadors Ty Shockley of Wheatland, and Garrett Irene of Rock River. The accomplishment gives Purdy the opportunity to represent the nation...
