Student of the week: Alex Pyle

A Burns Junior High School athlete is hurdling himself over his competition in order to be the best. Alex Pyle, seventh grader at Burns Jr./Sr. High School, enjoys playing a lot of sports. Pyle is currently competing in track.

"I've placed in every meet I've gone to, from first to fifth," Pyle said.

Pyle competes in the 400 meter dash, 75 hurdles, 200 hurdles and high jump. He received a 1:02 in the 400 meter dash and around a 12.05 in the 75 hurdles. Pyle said he competes in the hurdle races because he thinks they're fun and has always wanted to be a hurdler. Pyle's brother used to compete...
