For the special this week at the Hereford Community Church Rosalyn Reifschneider read some guidelines from the VBS material.  The sermon topic was “Joyful Stress.”  The book of Philippians was written by Paul while he was in prison in Rome.  Paul never lost his joy even while he was under stress.  He saw pressure not as an obstacle but as an opportunity .  He stayed focused on Jesus.  We need to follow Paul’s example.  We need to stand firm in our faith and be joyful.  Next week the sermon topic will be “Row Upon Row.”
