LCSD2 Board member Todd Fornstrom swears in Taft Love Tuesday, May 13 night to the vacant school board position. Love will serve on the LSCD2 School Board until the term is up in November.
The Laramie County School District 2 Board of Trustees appointed a new board member Tuesday, May 13 night after former member left the position.
Board members interviewed three applicants the week before in its Committee of the Whole meeting before naming Taft Love to the position, who immediately filled the position after being sworn in.
"We had some great candidates apply, and it was difficult to decide," Chairman Esther Davison said after announcing Love as the new board member.
Love said his interest in the school board was sparked by wanting to be involved in the community and school....
