Veterans honor fallen soldiers

A firing squad stands before giving a 21 gun salute for veterans as the Color Guard presents the flags Monday morning at the Pine Bluffs cemetery for Memorial Day.

A Memorial Day service was held at the Pine Bluffs cemetery in remembrance of military loved ones.

"The ceremony was to reflect back the memories of these guys who gave their lives for this country," Steven Miller, Commander of the American Legion Post 60, said.

Every Memorial Day, the Honor Guard of the American Legion Post 60 honors their fellow soldiers. Post 60 invited Pine Bluffs residents to gather at the cemetery and take time to pay their respects.
