Burns Day

The fog didn't stop residents and visitors from enjoying Burns Day held on Saturday.

The foggy day started with a pancake breakfast served by the Burns Fire Department. Seating was available inside the fire house. The fire fighters bought eight 10-pound bags of pancake mix. One at a time, they put a bag of mix in a bin, added water and mixed it with a giant drill. The fire department has served breakfast every year since 1907.
