To the voters of the State of Wyoming:-

Responding to a state wide request from republican and progressive voters and friends, I have decided to become a candidate for the republican nomination for the office of Governor of Wyoming; at the coming primary election.

In that connection I wish to state that I stand squarely upon the declaration of principles enunciated at the republican mass meeting held in Cheyenne, April 6th, 1914

If nominated and elected I pledge myself to an honest, progressive and economical administration of state affairs.
