Snap, Crackle, Pop! An easy treat to pack for July 4th

The three Rice Krispie guys have nothing on our favorite American holiday, the Fourth of July. Perhaps they hold up for a while under the saturating pressure of milk, but fireworks keep going long after our ears can hear.

Maybe you are looking for a calmer, sweeter, and ultimately quieter way to celebrate tomorrow. Have I got the cookie for you. Many of us travel to the park, to family homes, or possibly to the lake. These little patriotic cookies hold their own in a Tupperware container and will have all the attention at the pot luck table.
