Teens saddle up for the rodeo

Cowboys and cowgirls of all ages gathered in the arena Saturday for Pine Bluffs Trail Days Teenage Rodeo.

The Teenage Rodeo was open to youth, between the ages of 5 and 18. The rodeo began with the flying of the Wyoming and American flags. The Trail Days Rodeo Queen, Brook Darden, waved to the crowd as she galloped into the arena. Cowboy hats were removed and hands were placed over hearts during the national anthem sung by Derede Darden.
