Good morning Banner County! Same to all neighbors, near and far.

We find ourselves in the middle of August. I can not believe it. Swimming pools will be closing and schools will be opening! The YMCA will be closing August 15th at 2 p.m. so the entire pool may be repainted. They expect to be closed for about 8 weeks. Most, if not all, out door pools are closed for the year.

For many students, School will be held for a half day tomorrow, Aug. 15th. However, Harrisburg school bells will ring loud and clear Monday morning, August 18th and school will commence all day and each day afterward. Yeah!...
