Memorial services for Barbara Hix, age 60 of Gillette was held on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 2 p.m., at New Life Wesleyan Church, Pastor Randall Weinzierl officiating. Barbara Rae Hix, of Gillette, passed away peacefully on August 8th, 2014 at the Close to Home Hospice House after an arduous and courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was 60 years young. Barb was born in Sidney, Neb., on May 16, 1954 to John and Geraldine Lang of Pine Bluffs. She was the fourth of eleven children.
