Burns and Pine Bluffs get in a set stance for Hornets to pass the ball to the quarterback.

After six years of holding onto the traveling trophy, Burns football team played their rival team and insured another year of bragging rights at the Burns Vs. Pine Bluffs football game Friday night.

The traveling trophy is an old football helmet with Burns painted on one said and Pine Bluffs painted on the other. In the middle of the helmet are the years the rival teams have played each other as well as the scores. The trophy sits on a piece of wood with a plaque in front reading "Pine Bluffs Burns District Number 2 Bragging Rights."
