The Hornets scored the first touchdown in the first quarter. Haize Fornstrom passed the football to Trent Werner for 15-yards. Werner made the touchdown. However, the two point conversion run by Preston Thurin was no good.

The score at the end of the first quarter was 6-0.

At the beginning of the second quarter, Cyclone's Jeff Burroughs ran for 5-yards to score a touchdown. The point after kick by Kenny Randall gave the cyclones an extra point.
