Lady Broncs trample over Lady Tigers

The Burns Volleyball team had some special guests with them on Friday during the game. Anna Yearout and Hailie Rose, first grade; Aubrey Burns, fourth grade; Savanah Corman, Mikayla Phelps and Alexia Mahaffy, fifth grade, were picked to be Bronc Ball Kids. The high school sports program show cases elementary students who have good grades, are respectful and go above and beyond expectations.

Burns Lady Broncs beat Lusk Lady Tigers in three games Friday evening.

During the first game, the Lady Broncs won 25-6. The Lady Tigers tried to steal the win but were defeated 25-16. The Lady Broncs made a final win in the third game 25-13.

More kills were made in this game by katie Norris, 9 kills and Alex McCart, 8 kills. Jessica Malm and Mckenzie Ward both made 6 kills and 9 digs. Tamara McCart made four kills.

McKayla Ward made 8 aces and 28 assists. Rachel Derner made 14 digs.

The Lady Broncs won the Potter-Dix Tournament and will play Kimball on Friday in Kimball.
