Burns drops shootout to Glenrock

The Burns High varsity football team lost a shootout, 38-26, to Glenrock on Friday night at South High School in Cheyenne.

The Broncos rallied for a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to prevent them from falling to 1-4 this season.

Glenrock struck twice in the first quarter. Herder quarterback Dillon Farley completed a 16-yard TD pass, and Alex Arnold added a two-point conversion run. The Herder's Tanner Bopp added a 1-yard scoring run and Dillon Rowe added the two-point PAT run to give Glenrock a 16-0 advantage after the opening period.
