Pawnee still not at full strength in two losses

The Pawnee High volleyball team played shorthanded in its two losses this week.

The Coyotes were swept Oct. 7 at home against Caliche (25-4, 25-12, 25-16) and on the road at Peetz on Oct. 10 (25-8, 25-4, 25-13).

“This week, Pawnee played with five players against both Caliche and Peetz,” said coach Kaeley Malcom. “They may have ended in losses, but the girls have shown such improvement as the season has progressed.”

This week is Pawnee’s homecoming. The Coyotes will host Prairie on Friday and then host a triangular with Briggsdale and Weldona on Saturday.
