Lady Coyotes battle in district tournament

Lady Coyotes watch their teammate Amy Probst hit the ball during the teams's first round of district tournaments Tuesday, Oct. 21 in Sterling, Colo.

The Pawnee Lady Coyote volleyball team traveled to Sterling, Colo. Tuesday Oct. 21 to the NJC gym for the first round of district tournaments and lost the match.

However, Kaeley Malcom, coach for the team, is proud of their efforts.

"The Pawnee five rallied with Peetz on Tuesday during the first round of districts," she said. "They played very well for their last game of the season."

She believes the girls are only getting better.
