Historian presents research idea at town meeting

During Pine Bluffs’ town meeting Monday night, a historical photographer informed the town council and visitors that Pine Bluffs will be one of many towns featured in his research project.

Doc Thissen, student, photographer and historian, is traveling on the Lincoln Highway to photograph small towns in Wyoming. Thissen said he’s trying to avoid towns with I-80 going through them, but Pine Bluffs is an exception.

“Whenever I first came through Pine Bluffs, I immediately fell in love with the town,” Thissen said.
