Marshall (left) and Jan Streeter (far right) smile as they watch their daughter Claire sign for a full ride scholarship to New Mexico State University. During her time at college, Claire will be on the equestrian team and work to get a degree in business.

Claire Streeter, Senior at Burns Jr./Sr. High School, signed a letter of intent to New Mexico State University Friday in Burns. Streeter signed for a Women's Equestrian National Collegiate Athletic Association Division One full-ride scholarship. She will continue her reining career on the equestrian team while majoring in business.

Streeter said that other than the great climate and weather, she chose NMSU because it has a great equestrian program and coaches. She said she had a great visit to NMSU and they offered her a scholarship she couldn't turn down.
