McKayla Ward, a senior at Burns Jr./Sr. High School, officially signed a letter of intention to attend Sheridan Community College and play volleyball for the Generals beginning in August. An emotional signing party was held Dec. 16 to celebrate her commitment. Pictured (left to right) during the signing is coach Jennifer Stadler of Sheridan Community College, McKayla Ward, and Burns Head Coach Christina Patterson, who has guided Ward for the past six years. McKayla is the daughter of Burns Athletic Director Barry Ward and Sharon Ward.
