Trent Werner puts up a break away lay-up against Tongue River at the Winter Classic in Dayton. Werner and the Pine Bluffs Hornets were on the road this past weekend facing Saratoga. Werner scored 7 points in the win. The Hornets will be at home this Friday to square off against Burns.
A dominate effort on both ends of the court led the Pine Bluffs Hornets to an 86-52 road victory against the Saratoga Panthers in Saratoga on Friday.
The Hornets took the lead in the first period and never looked back.
They out-scored Saratoga 30-10 in the first quarter and 15-14 in the second. At the half Pine Bluffs led 45-24.
Coming out of the locker-rooms at half-time was business as usual for Pine Bluffs as they continued to wrack up more points leaving Saratoga further and further behind.
