Solid second half helps in victory against Saratoga

Jadyn Golding is seen putting up a wild shot against Tongue River. This past weekend Golding scored 17 points to help the Lady Hornets defeat the Saratoga Panthers on the road in Saratoga. The Lady Hornets will be at home this Friday to take on Burns.

The Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets took to the road this weekend as they faced off against the Saratoga Lady Panthers in Saratoga. The Lady Hornets started the game a little flat in the first half but found their rhythm in the second to score a 62-43 win.

Coach Lindsey Forbes expressed her concerns about how the girls started the first half.

"We didn't play our best basketball. We came out flat the first half and did not execute on either end," the coach said.

The Lady Hornets found themselves leading at the first quarter with a narrow one-point margin, 13-12.
