Burns girls take second at regionals, look for success at state tourney

The Burns High School girls' basketball team locked up a berth at this week's 2A state tournament with a second-place finish at the East Regionals.

The Lady Broncs advanced to the championship game last weekend, but dropped a 44-38 decision to Southeast.

Burns was slated to open play in the eight-team 2A state tournament on Thursday at 9 a.m. against Thermopolis at Casper College.
