PB girls come up short of state bid

The Pine Bluffs girls' basketball team saw its season come to an end last week, falling one win shy of qualifying for the Wyoming 2A State Tournament.

The Lady Hornets fell into the consolation bracket of the 2A East Regional at Big Horn last week. They lost to host Big Horn, 57-45, in the consolation semifinals to end their season with a 17-6 record. A win in that game would have propelled them into this week's state tournament.
