The seasons sometime seem to hang around like smoke from a backyard fire of limbs and leaves. Once you think it is gone and over, you catch a whiff of it in the wind. Just like the smoke that leaves quickly when doused with some water, weather changes when the wind blows in a cold front.

There was plenty of cleaning, raking and burning going on Saturday and Sunday. Lon Johnson even ventured up to his roof as Janet watched and supported from a lawn chair below.
