The Hereford Community Church celebrated Easter with a sunrise service. Dawn Freeman and Brenda Haun were celebrating their birthdays. For the special Steve Hauer sang Behold. Pastor Opdycke’s sermon title was New Life, and the scripture text was 2 Corinthians:5:14-17.
The Prairie Songbirds presented the Easter cantata Risen This Day under the direction of Erinn Flaharty. The choir members were Shirley Wiggin, Marietta West, Rita Johnston, Carol Opdycke, Kathy Zitek, Karel Smock, Jan and Steve Hauer. The narrator was Carol Opdycke.
