Twenty three people attended the April potluck luncheon for the 55 And Up Club on Friday. Fritz Duggan won the door prize for the men, and Kathy Zitek won the door prize for the women. Everyone received a rice crispy Easter basket. There was plenty of good food and good fellowship. The next potluck luncheon will be May 8.

For the special this week at the Hereford Community Church, Steve Hauer sang You Will Always Be A Child In My Eyes. The sermon topic was Victors Not Victims, and the scriptures were John 16:33 and 2 Timothy 3. Next week the sermon topic will be God’s Comfort.

The church held their quarterly business meeting before the service. Reports were given and routine matters discussed. Upcoming dates to put on your calendar include the annual yard sale, bake sale, and car wash to be held on Saturday, June 13. There will be a cleanup day on Friday, June 5. The church will have a special speaker from the Giddeons on April 26.
