Vashti James

Vashti James, 84, was born to Charles and Gertrude Long on May 22, 1930, in Cheyenne. She passed on to her eternal reward April 9, 2015, in Cheyenne.

She lived in many places while growing up, always returning to the Cheyenne area. She attended Cheyenne High School until she became ill and could not finish her last year.

She met and married Howard James in 1948. They spent 61 years together. To this union was born one daughter and five sons. Vashti was an old-fashioned wife, mother and homemaker.
