Burns finishes fifth at Mitchell with personal bests

The Burns field and track teams headed to Mitchell, Ne., last week, and while both the boys' and girls' teams were ranked fifth at the conclusion of the meet, Girls Coach Brooks Hoffman said, "It was a good meet with numerous personal bests. The girls had a number of placers to bring in the 42 team points. The girls competed well, and it was fun to watch some of the younger athletes put up their best marks so far this season. I am excited to see the girls continue to improve their marks as the season develops, and I look forward to seeing them continue to develop and improve when we head up...
