Second accident shuts down I-80 west of Laramie

For the second time in less than five days, Interstate 80 is closed due to a major vehicle pileup approximately 18 miles west of Laramie at mile post 292.

In a second accident on Interstate 80, this time between Laramie and Rawlins, 59 vehicles were thought to have been involved, but that number has now confirmed at 64 in Monday morning’s crash. The large fire that ensued from the crash delayed the investigation efforts for an extended period.
