Broncs, Hornets compete in Casper Classic

Burn's own Cole Jackson is shown getting ready to give it his best shot during the Shot Put competition in Torrington at the Goshen County meet. He did not place in that event, but did come in fifth in the Triple Jump, where Klayton Clark placed third.

It was a long grueling week for a group of Pine Bluffs and Burns seniors last week.

The Burns athletes ran four track meets in that time, according to Coach Cole Manlove. "Needless to say they ran flat on Saturday at the GOCO (Goshen County). I'm very proud of Noah Taylor, who broke the school record in the mile, Tyler Morgan who broke his own school record in the two mile, and Rowan Fichtner who almost broke the school record in the 800m at the Best of the West meet in Scotts Bluff, and turned around three days later and did it all again at the Track Classic in Casper.
