Good morning Banner County, friends near and far. Today is the middle of the month of May. Amazing how quickly the time flies, whether you are having fun or not. April brought us showers, May brought us flowers, more showers, and snow. For the second year in a row we had snow on Mothers' Day. However, this year we had enough snow to warrant canceling church on Sunday, and school on Monday, mostly due to extremely muddy, washed out roads. Before the snow started we had right at 4-1/2 inches of rain in the gauge. Heavy, wet snow on top of that, and things definitely had a good watering.
