Gentled wild horses and burros available at Honor Farm adoption

The Bureau of Land Management and the Wyoming Honor Farm will host a wild horse and burro adoption on Saturday, May 16, in Riverton, Wyoming.

On Friday, May 15, potential adopters can preview the horses and burros that will be available for adoption. The Honor Farm will also offer a free clinic to discuss the gentling program. The clinic will feature demonstrations focusing on catching a horse, advance and retreat, picking up feet, and beginning to ride. The gentling clinic and preview of horses and burros runs from 1-3:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
