Burns wins first ever state championship

The Fab 4 pictured above, otherwise known (l-r) as Paden Wilson, Noah Taylor, Tyler Morgan and Rowan Fichtner, pose for a photo after winning 85 of the 87 points scored by the Burns High School boys' track and field team, and bringing home Burns' first ever state championship in track and field. The four were also named to the Wyoming Coach Association's 2015 WCA All-State in Outdoor Track.

The Burns High School boys' track and field team made school history this past weekend, bringing home the schools' first state championship.

Burns placed first in the team standings with 87 points, 20 points more than the second place team, Thermopolis, which had a cumulative total of 67 followed by Pine Bluffs with 57 points.

The group of Rowan Fichtner, Tyler Morgan, Noah Taylor and Paden Wilson scored a total of 85 points, of the team's total.
