WCA names Burns, Pine Bluffs athletes to All-State in outdoor track

The Burns boys' track team fared well at the state track meet in Casper last week, with Paden Wilson (right) and Tyler Morgan (left) placing third and fifth in the 110m Hurdles. Wilson went on to place first in the 300m Hurdles.

The Wyoming Coaches Association named more than 50 athletes from the 2A Division to the 2015 WCA All-State in Outdoor Track. Among those named were six from Burns High School and three from Pine Bluffs High School.

In order to qualify for the All-State honor, athletes must finish in the top two places of the events they are competing in, with the exception of the relay teams, where only first place finishers are considered.

In the case of the Burns track and field team, the four male athletes named were also those who scored 85 of 87 points during the state track meet this past weekend. The...
