Farmers out in their fields and youngsters in the ball field. It must be June. With all the recent rain, both fields are green and ready for growth and play. The pheasants and ducks are still enjoying the makeshift ponds on both ends of town.

Speaking of field play, you can still sign up your little sluggers for baseball. Contact the community center for more information. The schedule should be out later this week. Remember to find the time to take in a game and cheer on our Albin Wildcats. As always, a good time to catch up with neighbors and friends and get a traditional ball park dinner....
