Bioblitz planned at Oliver Reservoir

The Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory will be hosting a Bioblitz at Oliver Reservoir Recreation Area, between Bushnell and Kimball on US Highway 30, beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday June 19, and ending at 3 p.m. on June 20. Join us for a 24-hour celebration of western Nebraska wildlife.

Learn from area naturalists and scientists as they share their knowledge of local wildlife and the processes used to study nature. Come learn first-hand about birds, insects, fish, plants, reptiles, bats and astronomy. Camping is welcome for all, or stay for the sessions of your choice.
