Local student qualifies for NHSFR

Reata Beck, a 10th grade student at Burns Junior/Senior High School, has earned a position on the Wyoming state National High School rodeo team, and will be traveling with fellow teammates to Rock Springs, July 12 thru 18, to compete at the 67th annual National High School Finals Rodeo in goat tying, reined cowhorse and trap shooting.

The rodeo will feature more than 1,500 contestants from 42 states, five Canadian provinces, and Australia.
