River Mossberg (pictured above) one of the regular participants in Steer Riding at the Double Bar G rodeos in Pine Bluffs, wore a sign on his back Friday night dedicating his ride to local Kimball cowboy A.J. Spicer, who would normally be in attendance, and who was seriously injured recently in a vehicular accident.
It was a beautiful but dusty evening at the Double Bar G Rodeo Friday night. Someone forgot to spray water over the floor of the arena, and it didn't take much to create big clouds of dust. By the time it was over a lot of people wanted to do nothing more than stand under a shower and rinse the dirt off. This writer was feeling the grit between her teeth, and scrubbing dirt off her camera and bad, and from places she never expected to find the annoying stuff.
