Quarterly milk production up

The United States Department of Agriculture released the numbers for April thru June, for the mountain states of Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming, and the number are up across the board, except in New Mexico, which saw a decrease in production.

Wyoming dairy herds produced 34.0 million pounds of milk during the quarter, which was up one million pounds in the same quarter in 2014. This translated to a three percent increase in production.
